Overview​

Community Warmth were established in 2015 as a not-for profit community interest company with an aim to keep communities warm, safe and healthy. We focus particularly on park home communities but are able to extend our services on a project basis.

 

 

We offer a funding and project management service to third-parties.

 

We offer support in the community through the provision of magazines, brochures, materials, advice, roadshows and assessment all designed with Quality, Integrity and Care in mind.

 

Our advice is free to home owners and councils and we can support both via materials, face-to-face appointments, email and telephone support.

 

 

Our QICA accreditation is the next generation in accreditation programmes. Every aspect of the organisation is checked and each project stage audited and reported including aftercare for every installation.​

In addition we have facilities to produce and deliver energy saving information materials as well as offer energy advice both online, in client homes and via a telephone support line.​

We offer a complete disability adaptation service from scoping works to installation and aftercare, all delivered under the Quality, Integrity and Care standards that we apply to our business.​

We can provide a full service for managing and monitoring quality within your project or general business. Whether you are seeking a managed monitoring system for a small project or an entire QMS we can provide you with a system or monitor it on your behalf with our QICA system.​

Our QICA accreditation can be applied to an entire product set to allow for monitoring of changes, usage and installation applications.​

We offer either write in, online or telephone support for aftercare and advice.​

After Care Services.

We offer monitoring for your project to ensure that only accredited installers are used and that they are working to scope. We audit all stages of the project from seeking clients, contracts, installation and aftercare.​

Our QICA system ensures that all stages of any project are openly audited on your behalf and regularly reported to you.​

Conduct transparent and quality testing procedures on systems & approved installers throughout the operation.

We ensure every stage is monitored, audited, corrected and reported removing pressure from councils or manufacturers as well as home owners.​

Offer a quality tested, open process from production, supply, installation and aftercare.

We operate as a not-for profit company. All our profits are put back into our Warm and Safe fund to assist the vulnerable directly with energy saving measures in their home.​

Community Warmth

Feeling Lonely at christmas

 Christmas can be a difficult or even lonely time for many of us. Statistics released by Age UK show that half a million older people in the UK expect to feel lonely this Christmas. Not all of us have a family to spend time with and some us just cant face a "big family Christmas" but still feel lonely or down. Try a simple step and look online for people who may be feeling exactly how you feel or understand what you are going through. If you feel lonely, or just need someone to talk to, here are some places to start. Whether you just have a look round or join a conversation is up to you.   www.contact-the-elderly.org.uk/news/contact-the-elderly-in-december  Join their Be Our Guest campaign.  www.campaigntoendloneliness.org/feeling-lonely offers advice on what to do if you feel lonely. www.elefriends.org.uk is an online community where you can be yourself, share and be heard.  www.samaritans.org are always available to talk 24/7 about whatever is on your mind. Heatwave Advice

Stay cool and hydrated in this hot weather. Government advice is to stay out of the sun between 11am and 3pm.  Drink more water than you usually do. Take a cool shower or bath if you are over heated. Cool your home at night by opening windows and doors if it is safe to do so in your area.  Keep curtains closed and blinds down during the day. To find out more from Public Health England download their useful guide here.​
